Our History
Founded in 1991, eServGlobal has focused on the telecommunications networks software market since 1997.
In September 2000, the company was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (symbol: ESV) and in October 2004 the company was listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM Market (symbol: ESG).
Continuous innovation and rapid transformation have been themes throughout eServGlobal’s history. Founded in 1983 within the computer pole of the Intertechnique Group, primarily a pioneer of voice processing, FERMA soon began capitalizing on evolving technologies to benefit its clients. FERMA SA developed both in the market for prepaid services and for voice messaging services for telecommunication service providers and established itself as a leader in the global marketplace.
From November 2005, FERMA SA became part of eServGlobal: the combination of the two companies provides a unique capability to deliver end-to-end solutions for all interactive communications and advanced services.
In 2009, eServGlobal reached a new stage of development and growth. With the benefit of Richard Mathews, appointed as Chief Executive Officer, and David Smart, assuming the role of Non-executive Chairman, we continued to work closely with our partners to help our customers participate in the value chain of new technologies.
In 2010, eServGlobal entered a new era. eServGlobal sold its USP assets, choosing to specialize in the high-growth areas of mobile money and value-added services.
