Jim brings to the Board over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in Australia and Asia.

In 1994, Jim was appointed as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Peoples Telephone Company Ltd., a GSM 1800 network operator in Hong Kong.

On his return to Australia, Jim was appointed Managing Director of Telstra International’s offshore wireless business interests and held this position until August 2001.

Jim is also the past Chairman of the GSM Association (GSMA) – (2002/2003). The GSM Association (GSMA) is the world’s leading wireless industry body representing some 600 GSM network operators.

Jim has been a member of the Board since April 2003.
