The Netherlands, 20 February 2006
eServGlobal Limited today announces the successful deployment of its Universal Service Platform (USP) at KPN MultiMedia Service Provider (MMSP) in the Netherlands.
eServGlobal Limited (LSE: ESG & ASX: ESV), a worldwide supplier of telecommunications Value Added Services solutions for Messaging and Charging, today announces the successful deployment of its Universal Service Platform (USP) at KPN MultiMedia Service Provider (MMSP) in the Netherlands. KPN currently launched the national expansion of its InternetPlusBellen service, a price attractive bundled Telephony and Internet service for residential customers, using Voice Over IP (VOIP) technology.
eServGlobal’s Universal Service Platform provides the intelligence to allow calls from the VOIP network to be completed into the traditional PSTN network and vice versa, including ported numbers.
The solution is flexible and extendable, and can potentially allow VOIP subscribers to have access to IN like services (callback on busy, freephone) that are readily available for PSTN subscribers.
eServGlobal’s Universal Service Platform gives KPN a flexible solution, that can scale according to KPN’s growth expectations of its ‘InternetPlusBellen’ service offering. The scalability and reliability of the platform has already been proven in KPN’s fixed network.
